Intended use

All products sold by DiscreetBioLabs are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research by qualified researchers and research organizations. They are not for human or animal consumption, and they are not intended for personal use of any kind.

These products are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, dietary supplements, or medical devices and have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. DiscreetBioLabs is not a compounding pharmacy as defined under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, is not an outsourcing facility as defined under Section 503B of that Act, and does not provide medical advice.

What we do not provide

We publish only the chemical identity of each compound and the area of research in which it is studied. We provide no dosing, reconstitution, or administration instructions, and we make no claims about the effects of any product in a living organism.

Your obligations as a purchaser

Ordering from this site requires you to be at least 21 years old and to complete a researcher attestation. The attestation reads:

I certify that I am at least 21 years old, am a qualified researcher or purchasing on behalf of a research organization, and that all products purchased will be used solely for in-vitro laboratory research and NOT for human or animal consumption. I have read and agree to the Research Use Disclaimer and Terms of Service.

Each attestation is recorded with the date, time, IP address and the exact wording agreed to, and is retained as a permanent record. See our Age Verification Policy for how the 21+ check works and what we record.

Handling and storage

Products must be handled only by trained personnel in an appropriately equipped laboratory, under the safety procedures and institutional oversight that apply to your facility. Storage conditions are stated on each product page and on the Certificate of Analysis for your lot.

Certificates of Analysis

Identity and purity are reported per lot by a third-party laboratory. Where a product page and a lot certificate differ — including molecular weight for salt forms — the certificate for your lot governs. Browse the COA library.

Compliance with law, and assumption of risk

Buyer assumes full responsibility for compliance with all laws and regulations applicable in their jurisdiction. Use of these materials is entirely at the buyer’s own risk.

You are responsible for ensuring that your purchase, possession, and use of these products complies with all laws and regulations that apply to you, including those of your state and institution. These materials must be handled only within an appropriate research environment, by qualified personnel who understand the risks, limitations and regulatory requirements that apply to experimental compounds. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, and to decline shipment of particular compounds to particular destinations.

DiscreetBioLabs assumes no liability for misuse, unsafe handling, improper application, or any regulatory or compliance issue arising from the use of these materials.
